This creative workshop empowers your child to discover their own unique strengths, build confidence and strengthen their resilience.
Using music, art and drama activities, your child will create their own ‘suitcase for the tough days’ filled with individual strategies to build their resilience and celebrate what makes each of them unique.
They will learn about themselves, creatively express who they are, discover their strengths and celebrate their greatness!
By the end of this workshop they will leave feeling empowered, celebrated and with a suitcase of coping skills to deal with those tough days.

ABOUT US
Facilitated by Music Therapist Phoebe Cormack, Art Therapist Judy King and Dramatherapist Natalie Mackenzie, they bring together over 25 years creative therapy experience working with children.
PHOEBE CORMACK
Phoebe Cormack, from Phoebe’s Musical Chairs, is a Registered Music Therapist (Masters of Arts in Music Therapy, UTS) and vocalist (BMus, SCU) and has worked with children who are experiencing grief and loss as well as anxiety and in some cases, trauma. She brings a wealth of knowledge in ways to use Music Therapy in an engaging way that focuses on fun, creativity and play to encourage children to feel empowered by their emotions.
JUDY KING
Judy is a registered art psychotherapist and practicing artist (MA in Art Therapy from Western Sydney University, and BA in Fine Arts from the National Art School, Sydney). Judy’s art therapy work has encompassed early intervention, at-risk adolescents in the school system, children’s palliative care, survivors of domestic violence and adults with mental health issues, chronic pain and palliative care. She works at Bear Cottage Hospice, Manly with children with life limiting illnesses and their extended families and also has her own private practice.
NATALIE MACKENZIE
Natalie is a registered Dramatherapist with an MA in Dramatherapy from Roehampton University in London, UK. Natalie founded Playful Minds which provides individual and group dramatherapy programs to support children’s mental health. She has worked with children who have experienced emotional trauma including abuse, neglect, grief and loss, at –risk young people in alternative education, within adolescent eating disorder and adult mental health services and provides group programs for children whose parents are recovering from addiction.
